Two Non-Knife Items

Here are two pieces that are based in knives and weaponry, but aren't actually bladed.

First off is an archer's vambrace. It fits very well and is extremely comfortable, yet the surface is hard and waterproof and could most likely cause a light knife attack to be glanced. I could see myself donning this article and matching garb if any sort of apocalypse ever struck. My apologies for the quality of the photo.

Finally is this full sized cutting board-- oak and poplar. This was a collaboration of sorts with Charlee Ann, who did the great wood-burning.

Funayuki Inspired Kitchen Knife

This is a blade created to compliment my personal culinary style. The blade of this piece is extremely thin and is ground to an almost perfect ''0'' grind. The handle/blade transition favors a deep pinch grip. The blade is 51200 high carbon steel along with a handle of dyed sycamore and wenge.

Ironwood Paring

Small paring knife with an ironwood and box alder burl handle, blade is 51200.

Sycamore Chef and Saya

Chef knife made from 51200 and sycamore. The Saya is made of oak.

Recurved Granadillo

A little knife for fun. Blade is highly polished 1084 with a natural hamon. Handle is birdseye granadillo.

Surgical Fighter

This was a knife I made to take to Blade with me... It has a 51200 blade, nice thin edge geometry, contoured handle, and all that fun stuff. A sheath as well.

Razor

Here's another commision. A straight razor! I tried this guy out before sending it off and it worked really well. It also has a nice little storage case.
